Every tree comes down.
The question is how.
Storms take them down messy, on their own schedule, onto whatever's underneath. We take them down clean — roped, sectioned, and stacked where you want it. Takedowns, trimming, storm cleanup, and stump grinding across central Kentucky.
The tree work
-
Takedowns
Leaners, dead standers, and trees that outgrew their spot. Climbed or dropped whole where there's room; roped down piece by piece where there isn't. Tight quarters are most of what we do.
-
Trimming & deadwood
Limbs off the roof, off the lines' right-of-way, and out of the yard's way. We cut what the tree can afford to lose and leave the rest alone.
-
Storm cleanup
After the wind's done, we answer the phone. Downed trees off houses, fences, and drives — cut, hauled, and cleaned up, quick as we can get to you.
-
Stump grinding
Ground well below grade, so grass or a bed can go back over it and the mower never knows. Chips stay as fill or get hauled — your call.
The ash are already gone
The emerald ash borer got to Kentucky years back, and it didn't leave survivors. Every ash still standing is on borrowed time — and a dead ash goes brittle fast. Within a year or two it won't hold a climber, and it starts dropping limbs without asking anybody.
If there's a gray, bark-shedding ash standing over your house, your drive, or your fence line, that's the first call to make. Sooner is cheaper. It never gets easier to take down than it is today.
How a takedown goes
-
Read the tree
Lean, rot, widow-makers, and what it's standing over. The plan comes from the tree, not from a hurry. This is the part experience is for.
-
Rope & section
Drop zone cleared, lines set, and the tree comes down in pieces sized to the space — not one ounce of it lands anywhere we didn't pick.
-
Grind & clean
Stump ground below grade, wood bucked and stacked or hauled off, yard raked. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there — except the tree's gone.
Don't mow around it for ten years
A cut stump doesn't rot on any schedule you'd want — it sits there sprouting suckers, dulling mower blades, and feeding termites a foot from your yard.
Grinding takes it well below grade in an hour or two. Then dirt and seed go over the top, and next summer you'd have to know where it was to find it.
Careful is the whole trade
Tree work is the most dangerous job on this crew, and we treat it that way — insured, roped, and honest about risk. Near service drops and lines we coordinate with the utility before a saw ever starts. If a tree calls for a crane or a bigger outfit, we'll tell you that too. You get the truth about the tree, not a pitch.
